Jim Neitzel

Jim is a black belt under Carlson Gracie Junior. He has taught at several academies in Chicago, including Carlson Gracie headquarters. Jim is a decorated competitor who has reached the top 10 in his divisions worldwide IBJJF rankings.  As an instructor, Jim stresses strong fundamentals and a principles-based approach. As a legally blind practitioner, Jim emphasizes timing, technique, balance and spatial awareness in his grappling style.
